SMT SUPERVISOR(AFTERNOON SHIFT 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM)
Supervise multiple SMT lines while ensuring product quality standards are met in accordance with production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise multiple SMT lines
- Ensure product quality standards are met in accordance with production targets
- Setup and operate SMT equipment including solder screening, component placement, and pre and post reflow inspection
- Maintains work flow and a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
- Supervise department personnel
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of computer and operating experience dealing with Panasonic component placement equipment
- Experience with Panasonic Placement Equipment, EKRA Screener and BTU Reflow Oven preferred
- Knowledge of computer and operating systems (Panasert) would be an asset
- Experience with hand soldering and visual inspection would be an asset
- 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Post-secondary education required
- Machine maintenance and troubleshooting experience a must
- Good communication and team building skills are essential
