7880DEC-J2K-IPASI
SD & HD JPEG2000 Decoder from ASI & IP with internal Transport Stream Analysis
The 7880DEC-J2K-IPASI is a JPEG2000 SD & HD decoder card. The 7880DEC-J2K-IPASI is Evertz 3rd generation versatile JPEG2000 codec. It offers variable JPEG2000 compression rate on ASI or IP. The 7880DEC-J2K-IPASI offers better quality, higher rate and lower latency than previous generations. The 7880DEC-J2K-IPASI also supports pass through of up to 2 AES groups (8 channels) of audio embedded. The card functions are controlled through VistaLINK®.
The 7880DEC-J2K-IPASI is the perfect product to decode back hauled or archived high quality contribution video with low end-to-end delay. The JPEG2000 offers superior quality than MPEG-2 codec without the MPEG-2 blocking artifacts at lower latency.
