Multi-Image Display Wall Solution
Integrated, flexible, expandable, modular and easy to use, the MWP™ offers a new and cost-effective approach to multi-signal and multi-display "production" walls with a combined processor and controller in one, based on the patent-pending MVP® architecture, and driving many of the world's largest broadcast facility master and production control rooms today.
Each MWP™ chassis contains 15 agnostic slots, thereby allowing for different I/O combinations and displaying up to 60 sources from a single chassis. Through the patent-pending "P-Link" technology, output display modules can co-exist in the same frame or remain in separate frames. Input sources can be replicated multiple times and at different sizes (scalings) to the same or separate displays.
The MWP™ is hardware-based and offers a networked, "cumulative" bandwidth approach. Since there is no shared bus, the common bandwidth limitations (as seen with the limited number of unique sources that can be outputted at a single time) with other systems is bypassed.
Since the system runs its own real-time operating system (RTOS), common O/S problems are minimized.
Along with the MWP™, Evertz also offers a complete modular fiber-transmit and receive solution. FacilityLINK™ - Evertz Fiber Optic and Video Transport equipment handle a variety of signal formats and multiplexing - everything you need to move your signals from the source to the wall!
The MWP™ Offers the Following Capabilities
- Optional Auto-sensing, asynchronous inputs, including composite, analog, SD-SDI and HD-SDI, as well as analog and digital RGB information from computers up to UXGA - 1600x1200
- Single or multiple ("seamless") displays with output resolutions as high as 1920x1200 (WUXGA) designed to drive DLP, LED, LCD, plasma, front and rear projection, and CRT displays with output refresh user-configurable to 50Hz or 60Hz (59.94)
- Front-accessible, hot-swappable modules and power supplies for easy maintenance
- A 15-slot chassis with many modular input/output, as well as redundancy options - also provides future expandability for more inputs or displays
- Real-time media wall output backhaul display to PC workstation
- User-friendly preset and transition controls through Windows-based MWP™ Producer, Director and Player application GUIs
- Built-in fiber extenders for single or multi-mode files
- Built-in source-destination routing of video and graphic sources, providing considerable cost savings from use of RGB/DVI routers
- Single-pass processing - shrinking or enlarging the original input source through the use of scalars for each input to meet the highest quality output display image criteria
- Static and dynamic image support with transitional effects and on-screen text labels
- Consulting - an opportunity to discuss your display needs with Evertz engineers to arrive at the best and most effective solution
