Multi Screen OTT Distribution (Live)

At the core of the solution is the 3480 Media Exchange Platform (MXP). The MXP allows content to be streamed over both public and private networks and supports different resolutions and operating systems (i.e. Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight, Apple HLS, and MPEG-DASH). The MXP is ideal for any application that requires internet streaming, mobile streaming, advertising, and/or encryption.

Multi Screen OTT Ingest & Transcoding (VOD, Offline)

For file-based applications, the MXP can be packaged with Evertz playout solutions for a complete turn-key solution. Mediator will manage content as its ingested into the system (whether it's a baseband feed or a file), storage of content, packaging of content for both linear and non-linear playout. For video-on-demand (VOD) applications, Mediator prepare packages for any profile and for multiple VOD delivery platform.

Multi Screen Monitoring and Presentation

Evertz provides comprehensive monitoring for multi screen streams. Both MViP-II and the MVP-DEC32-IP-4 input module for the MVP® Multiviewer provide the ability to monitor for both video and audio errors/faults for various profiles and packaging including Adobe Flash, Apple HLS, Microsoft Silverlight and MPEG-DASH. For larger channel/stream counts, both the MViP-II and MVP-DEC32-IP-4 can cycle through a user-configured channel list. Both devices feed alarm information to VistaLINK®, Evertz' Network Management System.
